As discussed at the community meetings, there is a lengthy environmental review process that will soon get underway. In accordance with this, the County of Sonoma recently sent out a Notice of Preparation, or “NOP” to Forestville residents in the immediate vicinity of the project site, including an invitation to a county-led public meeting to discuss the scope of an impending Environmental Impact Report (EIR) on our planned asphalt facility.The public scoping meeting was the latest opportunity to share your input on our project, and was held on August 21, 2023. If you were unable to attend this public meeting, you are still able to provide written correspondence to the county by September 21, 2023:
